A&E and Outpatient Performance Slips In Northern Ireland As Transforming Your Care Begins To Cut Services
A&E performance despite several reconfigurations and investments since 2012 has seen performance slip in 2013
Outpatients, again despite alleged increases in commissioning of appointments as at the date of the report 36,350 patients are waiting over 9 weeks for their first Outpatient appointment.
Between Apl - Jul 2013 there was a 178% rise in patients waiting over 18 weeks for their first outpatient appointment.
