A&E performance drops in Antrim Hospital during July, this was the first test of new A&E and of Northern Health & Social Care Trust bosses Mary Hinds & Paul Cummings and they both have fell at the first hurdle.

He can also try and con the public about the new 24 bed ward in Antrim but did he also mention that when it opened other wards in Antrim hospital closed?
This type of behaviour and performance would not be accepted in England or Wales and most definitely not for such a long time period, the biggest change we need in health now is its management and its Minister, it is time the First & Deputy First Ministers or Secretary of State create a body that can actually hold those in control of the DHSSPS to account for their decisions and for the lies that they subject the public too.
The Quality Care Commission in England & Wales has already made a serious impact on Health Management in England; it is time to bring this Commission to N Ireland.
Despite the new 24 bed ward being built above the new A&E bed capacity within Antrim Hospital has went down as other wards have closed.
The Trust, health minister and other MLA’s celebrated the June performance of Antrim, they need to clutch at any straw to try and convince people that the changes they have made are working.
